50th Annual Railroad Days
Historic
Hinton, West Virginia
OCt.15-16 & Oct. 22-23
Being from Texas, I never understood a “Fall”. Fall weather was great and all, but I had no clue what was in store for me. Once you have seen a Fall, you have felt it, smelt it, and oh my goodness have you seen it! All the trees go a’blazin. From reds, to oranges, & yellows of all different kinds and we are just entering that peak in Southern West Virginia.
Every year, from Huntington to Hinton, The New River Exursion Train takes a nice day trip through what people say is the “Grand Canyon of the East. Being this time of year, you are sure to get a brilliant show. You get to see the colorful backdrop of Fall as you wind along side the wonderful New River. This very trip is a sight to be seen.
As they stop for the day here in Hinton, we are sure to provide the guests with everything they need to enjoy a good, fall day here in the Wild and Wonderful . Live music (click here for line-up) from noon-4 all 4 days, an entire floor of model trains, and the Train Museum to be seen and sold, vendors all up and down the streets, and food from all over.
I will be set-up in the Ethne House on 3rd Avenue and Temple (the old bank building), along with the Team at Ethne House, and local artists and artisans. We will have Italian Ice, local art, primitive ornaments, apples, and of course all of my JLLM items, (with new ones waiting to be released!)
Come out and enjoy this wonderful town, and see why I have fallen in love!
